| The image below shows the capstone after we have raised and pulled it back from its original position. We moved it by slowly raising it onto pressure-treated 4x4 timbers, and then sliding it onto 5 heavy-duty PVC pipes to roll it away from its original location. You can see in this image that the top layer of soil underlying the capstone consisted of an evenly distributed dark brown loam, the same as in other units nearby.
