Floods in Lower Town Harpers Ferry

The Church's failure to construct a parsonage on the property it had acquired on Lot 2, Block D of Shenandoah Street was perhaps wise in the long run. Lower Town Harpers Ferry was subjected to substantial flooding over the years, as depicted in the images below.
